Background

About Eimear Taaffe

I’m a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Leader currently completing a Master’s in Clinical Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at the Tivoli Institute. With a background in psychology and over five years of frontline experience in residential and community-based care, I’ve developed a deep commitment to trauma-informed and person-centred practice. My career has spanned working with vulnerable young people, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those with intellectual disabilities. I bring strong leadership, case management, and risk assessment skills to my current role at Daffodil Care Services, where I support both staff and service users in creating safe, therapeutic environments. Passionate about mental health, advocacy, and empowering individuals, I’ve also volunteered with Childline and participated in international mental health work in Sri Lanka. I’m always open to learning and connecting with others in the fields of mental health, psychotherapy, and social care.
