Have worked with many Far East manufacturers and delivered products on time and below budget, in one case reducing product cost by nearly 20% in the first 6 months of production. Starting from scratch, built a company's operational infrastructure concurrent with product development, production and launch. Then designed and executed a new global, multi-channel distribution and logistics flow to save time and reduce costs by annually, while increasing distribution flexibility. Working with a very small team in my first startup, we brought a new product from concept to on-shelf world-wide with Apple in 7 months. Major Professional Accomplishments include- Built a successful portrait and wedding photography business straight out of high school- Built a successful software training company, Sage Training Group, teaching Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and digital photography for clientele that included Sonic Training, Intel, Virtuoso, Logitech, Lensbaby and NetDesk - Designed and implemented a company wide eTraining for PLCM system for Logitech - Implemented manufacturing process improvements in the Far East to reduce production time by more than 25% as part of Six Sigma Green Belt project- Drove the product development, production and launch for a new consumer audio product portfolio- Starting from scratch, architected and implemented the business infrastructure required to deliver this portfolio to market- Built and led a global team of professionals to support product development and operations.
