About Eitaro Suda

I am the co-founder of scheme verge inc, leading business planning and project management in the field of UrbanTech and data-driven city management. Our flagship platform, Horai, helps municipalities, real estate developers, and the tourism industry optimize urban spaces by analyzing real-time human movement, activities, and interactions. Beyond my main role, I serve pro bono as a board member of The University of Tokyo Newspaper Foundation, supporting its business strategy and revenue growth. Previously, I worked as a researcher at DEEPCORE, analyzing AI technologies and startups, and as an advocacy intern at Human Rights Watch, conducting human rights research and policy engagement in Japan. I hold a degree in Cultural Anthropology, where I researched the facilitation of development aid and the social implementation of science and technology. As part of my fieldwork, I supported refugee camps in Myanmar and investigated resistance movements against the military regime. Additionally, I authored Mobility and the Future of Humanity: Will Autonomous Driving Make People Happier?(published by Heibonsha), exploring the social implications of autonomous driving.
