About Ejiro Poko

I am a confident, driven and friendly person, I have spent three years completing a BSc in Communication and Media Studies and through my degree I have greatly improved both my research and analytical skills. I have also learnt to strictly meet deadlines and to manage my time effectively in order to complete work to the best of my ability. In addition, I am fully efficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point. My most recent experience was interning in a film production company called ‘Catch 21’. This involved working with two other interns, filming, editing and publishing video projects and documents about young people’s opinions and viewpoints on political issues like ‘Brexit’ I also spent a lot of time working alone on research and database related work, in addition to answering client calls and managing the company’s social media sites where I reached out to various companies to inquire whether they were interested in doing any projects with Catch 21. It was a great and rewarding learning experience as the company ended up working with some of the companies I reached out to. Although I am deeply interested and passionate about furthering a career in marketing and communications, I have also built up a lot of experience in retail and customer facing jobs. I believe that working in various supermarkets and stores have helped me build and enhance my ability to work in a team, manage deadlines and to work independently;
