Background

About Eka Pradipta

As an environmental sustainability and urban forestry specialist with over 10 years of experience in green infrastructure, university-based urban forest management, and international collaboration, I bring a strong passion for improving urban resilience through trees, landscape, and ecological planning. My current role as an International Academic Partnership Officer at Universitas Indonesia allows me to coordinate global research partnerships and establish joint academic programs with global universities. Previously, I led campus-wide tree risk assessments, sustainability audits, and urban greening initiatives, including research on tree pruning, microclimate, and biodiversity on certified green buildings. I hold a Master’s in Architecture and Sustainability and a Bachelor's in Silviculture. I am actively involved in tree-related research, community outreach, and forest-based entrepreneurship. I’m now seeking international opportunities to further contribute to climate resilience, green space planning, and environmental knowledge exchange. Interested in: urban forestry, research collaboration, climate-smart cities, nature-based solutions, landscape restoration. Contact: ekp.bep@gmail.com | eka.pradipta@ui.ac.id
