About Ekant Tyagi

Economist by training. 🧭 Consultant by nature. 🧱 Builder at heart.Over the past 13 years at EY’s Government & Public Sector practice, I’ve led and co-created programs that bridge policy thinking with practical design — from strategy blueprints to ground-level activation. My work has spanned institutional design for public agencies, startup and innovation ecosystems, tourism strategies, digital inclusion, and city-level industrial planning. I’ve collaborated with state governments, multilateral partners, and industry — always aiming to bring clarity, credibility, and context into the design of public programs.Alongside policy and program strategy, I’ve written speeches, built indices, facilitated partnerships, and crafted narratives — helping governments communicate better, and align teams and stakeholders. Now, I’m entering a new phase — spending meaningful time with my young twins, continuing my advisory work through COSS, and slowly shaping a future where public goods, digital systems, and thoughtful design come together.I share reflections on these themes here — and am always open to conversations that sit at the intersection of the public good, digital systems, and design.Writings on Notion and Medium.https://medium.com/@ekanttyagi
