Hello! I'm a dedicated Food Technologist and graduate student at Cardiff Metropolitan University, with a passion for harnessing the power of food science and technology to improve the quality and safety of food products.Throughout my academic journey, I've honed a diverse skill set that is crucial to the food industry. This includes expertise in food quality control, food safety systems, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) implementation, statistical analysis, allergen management, and the practical application of lean techniques. I have also gained proficiency in using tools like SAP and Power BI, which are valuable for data management and analysis in the food sector.I believe in the power of collaboration and have been fortunate to work on various team projects. One of these projects involved creating innovative solutions to enhance food quality. This experience taught me the importance of effective communication, problem-solving, and leveraging the strengths of each team member to achieve our goals.My research work on entomophagy is another testament to my commitment to pushing the boundaries of food technology. I conducted an online survey to understand consumer perceptions and attitudes towards edible insects. This project not only deepened my research skills but also gave me insights into consumer behaviour and data analysis. It honed my ability to design surveys, collect and interpret data, and draw meaningful conclusions.The skills and knowledge I've acquired are not just theoretical—they have practical applications that can bring tangible benefits to the food industry. From ensuring food safety through HACCP systems to innovating sustainable food solutions, I'm eager to contribute to the industry's growth and evolution.I'm excited about the opportunities to apply my skills and continue learning and growing in this dynamic field.
