About El Sar

I am a refugee from Cambodia who arrived in the USA in 1981 when I was 10 years old with zero education and KSABEC5 in life. I survived the Vietnam War and the Khmer Rouges’ killing field from 1975-1979, when over 2.7 million Cambodians were murdered and executed. Manages to earn my high school diploma with a 2.0 GPA and then from the University of Houston downtown with a bachelor's degree with a 2.785 GPA and then graduate from the City of Houston City Police Academy and then served about a year with the HPD. I resigned from HPD in early 1996 and was determined to follow my heart to serve, defend, and protect America. I want to pay my debt back to the American people for my life, liberty, and freedom. I am a 25 years active duty military personnel with over four combat deployments and have served all levels of command and leadership from a 1-star to a 4-star command. I have served in the Regular Army, Special Forces Unit, NATO, and Combat Maneuver Training Center. I understand Army leadership, doctrine, technique, tactic, and procedure. I have acquired much cultural understanding and personal maturity, resiliency, wisdom, leadership, intelligence, and KSABEC5 while serving in the military with diverse assignments, deployments, military-to-military engagement, and commands. I earned my Master's degree in Master of Science in Leadership in 2021 with a 3.86 GPA during the COVID-19 pandemic and while serving as a Sergeant Major in the United States Army. I am innovative, adaptive, flexible, agile, and aggressive in learning and experiencing in life and on the job. I truly understand that People first and humans are more important than hardware.
