As a student affairs professional, I am excited about discovering and empowering the leader within each student, and to capitalize on the infinite learning opportunities beyond the classroom. I believe that learning happens when we're in community with others- in order to have true learning and growth take place, we must feel a sense of belonging in that community. I am excited to transform residence hall communities and redefine what connection and engagement mean for students living on campus. Big fan of restorative justice principles and communities of practice engagement strategies. Community is only as successful as it allows each person to show up and be fully seen and fully heard. My mission is to challenge students as they learn who they are as community members and leaders, and support them as they develop the tools and understanding needed to share their gifts and experiences with those communities.
