About Elaine Lyons

I graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a 2.2 BBs in Marketing and Management in October 2013. During the course of my studies my subjects included Marketing Communications, Branding and Marketing Management, International Marketing and Consumer Behaviour to name a few. My final year project for Strategic Marketing consisted of a Marketing Plan for Perform Better an American company who are experts in Functional Training, Rehabilitation and Sports Performance. The marketing objective for the marketing plan for Perform Better was to establish its brand awareness in Ireland by Celebrity Endorsements and Sponsoring by entering the Irish market they are gaining a wider audience and providing an opportunity to expand not only in Ireland but potentially Europe. At my previous position with Uber I delivered high-quality service across multiple support platforms (email, phone, in app support). I showed empathy to frustrated riders and drivers while solving problems and addressing unsatisfactory experiences. I built loyalty among new users and get our early adopters to fall in love with Uber all over again. I developed a passion for helping others and creating support experiences that exceed users’ expectations. I became skilled at handling multiple issues at once to efficiently solve a large number of inquiries. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I’m flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others.
