About Elan Naideck

Good design of any kind takes more than just having technical skills. It takes observation skills, creativity, and empathy to create something truly special. That's my design doctrine. As a software engineer, I take pride in my ability to leverage those skills to create innovative ideas and designs. Currently, I'm a Software Engineer for one of Canada's fastest-growing tech company where I create software for simulating the accuracy of surgical guidance systems. I write software from the ground up, including the visual design and user interface. Prior to my time at Claronav I was an assistant to a research lab for the UMD physics department where I rewrote and updated control software for sensitive research equipment. Before that I was the design leader on a competitive robotics team. With my team, we advanced to the international competition of the FIRST tech challenge where we brought home a second-place prize.
