Elana is a Senior Vice President at Barbara Wagner Communications specializing in the intersection of real estate, lifestyle, and the arts. Throughout her career, she has driven strategy and publicity campaigns for clients in a wide range of sectors, elevating destinations through prominent national placements, launching new buildings to widespread acclaim, and overseeing countless events and openings. A sought-after publicist, strategist, and writer, she has over a decade of experience in the fast-paced field of public relations and has worked at both boutique firms and large agencies. She has been named to multiple City & State lists, including the 2024 Political Power PR List and the 2021 40 Under 40 List for the Real Estate and Construction Industries. Elana serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Friends of the Central Library, which raises funds to support the Central Library, the hub of the Onondaga County Public Library system in Syracuse, NY. The FOCL Board produces and promotes the Friends of the Central Library Author Series, one of the longest running library-related lecture series in the country, which celebrated its 30th season in 2025. Elana proudly holds a B.A. in public relations, political science, and history from Syracuse University.
