About Elayne Geba

Elayne Geba PT, DPT, WCS received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Bradley University in 2002 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2005. Upon graduation, she became an Orthopedic Physical Therapist working in both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy settings. She began treating pregnant patients in 2005 and gained an interest in pelvic floor physical therapy in 2008. Since graduation in 2005, she has taken several advanced pelvic floor, orthopedic, and manual therapy courses, including achieving a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP-Pelvic) from the American Physical Therapy Association and became a board certified Women’s Health Certified Specialist (WCS) in 2013. She is active in the American Physical Therapy Association and Section on Women’s Health and has previous experience in the development and implementation of Orthopedic and Women’s Health residency programs at Good Shepherd Penn Partners in Philadelphia. Elayne Geba has worked clinically as an advanced clinician physical therapist mentoring students, residents, and other therapists, while also providing community lectures, physician lectures, and teaching academically for university physical therapy programs. She relocated cross-country from the Philadelphia area to the San Francisco / Bay Area in the Fall of 2013 and back to the Philadelphia area in the Spring of 2016. Starting in March 2016, she has returned to Rebalance Physical Therapy in Narberth & Philadelphia, PA until December 2021. She currently has her own private practice, Embody Physical Therapy, previously located in Media, PA & more recently (2024) located in Waterbury VT.
