About Eldon Alford

As a Fayetteville State University (HBCU) alumnus, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication. The focus of my degree was in Broadcasting while also focusing on Graphic Design where I led multiple teams, and proudly produced award-winning content. I currently work at ESPN as a Project Lead in our Animation, Graphics Innovation & Production Design department. I primarily focus on our Show and Event production dealing with playout, planning, testing, and managing creative graphics being delivered to millions of fans across the globe. I plan to explore new frontiers, by working with design and technical professionals, who push themselves to create something meaningful and innovative. I'm a hardworking individual with the drive to make myself, the people I work with better. With that in mind, I have developed Project Management and communication skills. Having worked on live broadcasts for more than ten years, I understand the needs of an audience, and what it takes to succeed. From Studio and Live Event to social platforms to everything in between, I love the fast pace of broadcast and always working towards perfection to ensure all aspects of a projects and production run smoothly.
