As a seasoned planning and facilities management professional, I bring over a decade of federal, state, and local government experience with a strong focus on master planning, land use, community development, and federal space management. With expertise ranging from the U.S. Marine Corps and Department of Veterans Affairs to local governments and the USDA Forest Service, I have honed my ability to manage complex projects, coordinate diverse teams, and provide actionable solutions that align with both short-term needs and long-term goals. Currently serving as a Facility Planner and Sharing Director with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, I lead capital project development, workforce planning, and space management initiatives. I’m responsible for facilitating high-level committees, overseeing facility space utilization, and ensuring that healthcare system requirements and policies are effectively integrated into planning processes. My work involves direct communication with leadership, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring that projects meet operational and healthcare standards. Previously, I worked as a Community Planner for the Marine Corps Base Quantico, where I developed master planning documents, managed land use studies, and provided technical support for military construction and special projects. In earlier roles, I worked as a Senior Planner with the City of Las Cruces, managing current planning activities and zoning amendments, as well as contributing to comprehensive planning efforts that shaped the community’s growth. I hold a B.S. in Public Planning and Land Use from Northern Arizona University, and I have participated in professional training programs, including the Virtual Aspiring Supervisor Training (vASP) with the Department of Veterans Affairs. With a background that blends technical expertise with a passion for community development and environmental stewardship, I strive to create efficient, sustainable, and forward-thinking planning strategies that benefit the public sector and enhance the built environment.
