About Eleanor Field
Eleanor is a UK based set and costume designer for theatre. Since graduating from RADA’s Postgraduate Theatre Design course in July 2011, Eleanor has worked regularly in a wide variety of styles and genres for theatre, opera, dance and festivals, she also designed some windows for Selfridge’s, London, which really impressed her Grandma. She is part of an ongoing drawing project, A Pageant On Paper, creating a huge 'living drawing' that celebrates all the incredible achievements of women past and present. Eleanor is also part of the collective The Party Somewhere Else who's goal is to create events that showcase work made by women, including an annual week-long festival of performances and creative works at Nottingham Playhouse. When not designing she is teaching design as an associate Lecturer at Birmingham City University.
