About Eleanor Hammonds

I enjoy working with people, young, first time homebuyers to seasoned and experienced buyers and all those in between. It is satisfying to be a problem solver helping people meet their goal of home ownership. I believe focusing on great customer service and building relationships as a trusted partner helped and will grow my real estate business. As a licensed Realtor in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I specialize in New Homes, especially land acquisition and development for new communities. Currently, my focus is on developing my social media marketing and networking content. I have earned thru education and hard work, several professional career designations and maintain various positions within Professional organizations. My next educational achievement is to obtain my Real Estate Brokers License. As a military wife, I traveled extensively with my husband and children and lived in Germany for several years. I now live in Denbigh and have called it home longer than any other place I have lived even my childhood home in Ohio. My experience of living in Northern Virginia (Ft. Belvoir) when our children were very young was a delightful contrast to the fortunate gift of being stationed at Ft. Eustis. This is because my husband and I fell in love with Newport News, Virginia. We decided to retire here because the East Coast is close enough to family for quick get-a-way vacations and visits with all of our grandchildren. My retail sales, banking and finance background (civilian and military) have proven to be very beneficial in my residential real estate career, helping me to understand the interaction with the customers. In 1991, I decided to go to real estate school because I have always enjoyed customer service, sales and interior design and luckily I found my niche as a Realtor specializing in new homes sales. Besides real estate, I enjoy my family, especially my grandchildren. Cruising is my favorite way to relax, with resort vacations an appealing second.
