About Eleanor Marsh

I'm a recent graduate of Eckerd College, where I earned a B.A. with high honors in creative writing and religious studies. During my time at Eckerd, I served the community in a diverse number of roles both paid and voluntary. I acted as President of the Queer Straight Alliance, General Manager of the WECX Radio Station, Culture Editor of The Current, and Writing Consultant at the Eckerd College Writing Center. These experiences helped me hone a diverse range of skills, including: writing in a variety of styles such as academic, professional, creative, religious, and journalistic (with specialties in arts/culture and lifestyle); editing and proofreading; audio transcription; public relations and interpersonal communication; radio broadcasting; and event planning and organizing. I have received several accolades for my writing, notably the Eckerd Review Prize in Poetry and the Society of Professional Journalists Sunshine State Award for Best Student Opinion Column, second place.
