Background
About Eleftherios Papachristos
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Design at NTNU, where I lead the Human-Centered AI Lab (HCAI). My research lies at the intersection of Interaction Design and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on designing AI systems that are transparent, inclusive, and grounded in human values. I coordinate the interdisciplinary thematic group AI for Inclusive Education at NTNU, where we explore how AI can support learning, reduce educational inequities, and foster critical engagement. I also maintain an interest in evaluation methods and the role of trust and ethics in everyday AI systems.
