About Elena Cheker

Born and educated in Russia I began my professional career in Spain, working for over three years within the High Net Worth Individual sector. Utilising my personal drive, organisational talents and fluency across four languages, I have added substantial value to the organisations I have worked for. During this period I maintained my focus on achieving a work visa for the United Kingdom, and was successful with my application in mid-2014, allowing me to fulfil my long-held ambition of working within the most vibrant HNWI markets in Europe. I was headhunted whilst in Spain by Mayfair-based lifestyle management and financial institution group Insignia, working directly with the group’s President. Despite my initial willingness to remain with Insignia for the indefinite future I was repeatedly approached by my current employer, Equilibrium, to join their burgeoning business – affording me a role with greater creative control, input over direction and promotion, and stronger personal challenges. With a strong desire to constantly move forward, regularly assessing my levels of personal fulfilment I have, throughout my academic and professional career, maintained my focus on results. I believe I stand out through my purposeful and industrious nature, within the strong work ethic my family has instilled in me. My high-level management and organisational skills allow me to not only handle pressure and meet deadlines, but to thrive ahead of such challenges. My previous job and life experiences have proven both my reliability and adaptability, and I have a successful track record working with professionals in three different countries under many changing circumstances. I believe my true strength is best harnessed within a team but equally I relish any opportunity to work individually. You will learn that my optimistic and active lifestyle away from the work environment blends nicely with my friendly and supportive nature towards my family, friends and colleagues.
