About Elena Dean

A well-versed creative who strives for innovative excellence is one way to describe my hardworking personality. I have learned many skills through my experience making short films, commercials, and music videos in the classroom. From filmmaking and thinking outside the box to group work and time management, these projects have all benefitted me as a creator and a student. I am currently practicing my flexibility in a fast-paced environment as well as control room operation while putting on live news shows at Quinnipiac University. This is also an opportunity to communicate and collaborate with colleagues. Although this work is different from my past project-based experience, I am still incorporating my communication and time management as well as strengthing these new skills. My dream is to create content that tells important stories. Through my work, I want to visualize unique and special stories that must be told. Whether it be with a live broadcast, a music video, a film, or any kind of show, I want to make a difference in my career.
