About Elena Petre

I have always been passionate about customer service and I understand very well that working in this domain means much more than just serving drinks. It's about HELPING people, about communicating, about interpersonal connections. This job is about making customers feel welcomed, important and safe. Which is what Ițm doing right now at mu current job as a receptionist for a multinational company, BDO Romania. My first job was a summer job as a commercial worker for a clothing company, BSB Fashion. Also. I worked full time during my studies at a medical clinic, Medicover. In this environment, I worked under much stress and time pressure, but I always managed to keep everything under control (eg very busy moments when the patient's tail was very long, the phones were ringing, the doctors were asking us for patient files, but I always considered the person in front of me (the client) is the most important and I have made it a priority). I had to quit this job when I received the Erasmus scholarship and left in Portugal at the beginning of 2017. There I studied for 7 months at the University of Aveiro. Here I met many people, and interculturality is one of the most fascinating things that the Erasmus experience has given me. When I returned to Romania, I chose to stay in the Customer Service department and so I got my current job as a receptionist in the BDO company.
