About Elena Stymest

I am an RN with my BSN, CCS and CPC. I graduated as valedictorian of Quinnipiac University nursing program and with Honors from the Career Step Professional Medical Coding and Billing program. This coding course consisted of intensive training in inpatient and outpatient coding (with a 250+ practicum coding actual inpatient and outpatient records), use of 3M Encoder software, DRG and POA assignment and healthcare reimbursement. I also completed the Applied PCS supplemental course. I then went on to obtain my CCS through AHIMA on 02/19/2019. Prior to entering the coding program, from December 2011 until September 2018 I worked as a remote medical transcriptionist transcribing for several different acute care hospitals in numerous specialties on several different software platforms. I am currently working as a nurse clinical analyst. I have experience working remotely with accuracy and productivity requirements. I feel that through my past experiences in the medical field and intense training, I have developed excellent technical, organizational, communication, time management, efficiency, analytical and leadership skills. I am detail oriented, dedicated, hardworking, and eager to learn.
