About Eleni Langas

Registered Psychologist with endorsement in Counselling Psychology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). A Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) since 1996; Fellow of the APS College of Counselling Psychologists; PsyBA Board Approved Supervisor. Eleni has 30 years of experience providing psychological services across a wide range of settings including community and allied health, not-for-profit counselling and mental health services, relationship services, child protection, disability employment services, policy development, secondary and tertiary education, sport and private practice. Committed to evidence-based practice and the science practitioner model as a framework for psychological intervention with both clinical and non clinical populations. Eleni constantly strives to support people to develop more flexible brain functioning, improve mood, cognition, behaviour and relationships; actualise goals, enhance performance, improve quality of life and overall wellbeing. Works with clients on the individual level but also as people in relationships dealing with the interactional patterns and dynamics of families, teams and other groups. Actively engaged in ongoing professional development in the areas of adolescent and adult mental health, relationships, applied positive psychology interventions, performance enhancement and coaching psychology. Has postgraduate qualifications in Systemic Therapy (Couple and Family Therapy) from UNSW and is currently enrolled in the Master of Science (Coaching Psychology) at The University of Sydney.
