About Eleonore Rayner

With a foundation in biomedical science and experience in both academic and industry environments, I’ve spent the past several years building my career in project management, particularly in the healthcare and life sciences space. In my previous role at UBC, I helped secure and am manage over $4M in research funds, including two multimillion and multidisciplinary projects, and a team of 11 lab members. I now apply those skills at NanoVation Therapeutics, where I’ve played a key role in setting up project management systems and managing both internal R&D projects and partner projects of various sizes. I adapted the tools and knowledge I learnt from UBC Sauder's School of Business project management program to build R&D-friendly tools and practices. As a project manager I put time into building relationships and a sense of community across teams and departments to create a positive, collaborative work environment.
