About Eli Drummond

Hi there! My name is Eli and I am a passionate conservation biologist with a love for all things nature. My focus is on protecting and preserving our planet's incredible biodiversity, with a particular interest in birds, frogs, and plants. I volunteer with Birds Canada to monitor two local marshes for frogs and birds. In the spring and fall I spend time at the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory assisting with the migration seasons. As a biologist, I am constantly fascinated by the intricate relationships between different species and their environments. I am also dedicated to tackling the issue of invasive species, which pose a major threat to local plants and animals. I have the privilege of working in various habitat and ecosystems, including globally rare alvar habitats. These unique landscapes are home to a diverse range of species, and it is part of my work to ensure their survival for future generations to come.
