About Eli Freund

As a school psychologist at the NYC Department of Education, I provide psychological and educational evaluations, interventions, and consultation services to students, families, and staff. I have over two years of experience in this role, and I am currently pursuing my Psy.D. in School Psychology at Georgian Court University. My mission is to support the academic, social, and emotional development of diverse learners, especially those with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. I have a strong background in child development, learning disabilities, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational and psychological assessment. I am also a past president and an active member of the New Jersey Association of School Psychologists, where I advocate for the profession and the students we serve. In addition, I am the owner of NeuroEducational Consulting Group LLC, where I offer special education consulting and assist in the development of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) for districts. I have 5.5 years of experience as a business owner and a former special education supervisor. I leverage my skills in education and supervision, as well as my principal certification, to help schools improve their outcomes and practices.
