About Eli Standard

I’m a recent graduate from the University of Vermont with a double-major in Graphic Design and Statistics and minors in Computer Science and GIS. I’m proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, and have programming experience in HTML/CSS, Python, and R. In addition to a variety of freelance projects, I have professional graphic design experience working for UVM Student Life, Division I NCAA Athletics, The Gund Institute for Environment, and a local apparel startup. In these roles I’ve created logos, posters, stickers, t-shirts, web pages, and social media posts with a focus on consistent branding and clear communication. I love turning a client’s vision and into a real design that communicates important information to a wide audience. I also have leadership experience as the President, Treasurer, and Captain of the UVM Men’s Ultimate Frisbee team. In this role I manage a budget, coordinate logistics among three leadership teams at different skill levels, and ensure clear communication with the UVM Student Government Association. I’m looking for career opportunities in graphic design, UI/UX, Geospatial Analysis, and data visualization. Combining statistics and design has given me a unique perspective on how to display information effectively and solve problems in both logical and creative ways.
