About Eli Zerpa
I currently work in the Hammers Lab at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Therapeutics in the College of Medicine at my alma mater. I handle routine histology work to support various projects, and I'm in the process of transitioning into graduate studies. During undergrad, I explored different aspects of my degree through work in several research labs, which sparked my interest in how muscle functions under pathological conditions. Outside of academics, I served as President of the Florida Club Swim Team, where I managed the 5th largest club sports budget and oversaw operations for more than 250 members. I’m excited to keep growing in the muscle biology field and contribute to meaningful research in the years ahead.
