About Elie Ritch

I am a translational scientist and bioinformatician with specializations in oncology, precision medicine, biomarker guided clinical trials, genomics, computational biology, data science, administration of large cluster computers and machine learning. I develop bespoke and scalable approaches to analyze circulating tumor DNA that are currently being used for nationwide drug screening programs and research. I have led multidisciplinary projects with collaborations between clinicians, basic scientists and computer scientists, and have earned over in competitive academic awards. Core skills: • Cancer genomics software development and assay design. Writing, validating and integrating bioinformatics tools for NGS into large drug screen programs with molecular tumor boards. • Data science, machine learning and statistics. I conduct machine learning experiments and do exploratory data analysis and data visualizations on a daily basis using Python and the Python scientific stack, including pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, scipy, numpy, etc. • Clinical and translational research. Expertise in oncology, clinical trials and genomic testing focused on management of advanced prostate cancer.
