About Elijah Conlin

I have almost 4 years of experience working at power utilities in the Protection and Control department (P&C). I started as an intern at IP & L (now AES Indiana) and am currently an engineer at Duke Energy. As a P&C Engineer, I have experience with creating electrical drawing packages, developing relay settings, ordering material, performing field support, and peer checking/mentoring other engineers and designers. I also am the subject matter expert (SME) of the regulator and LTC controllers used at Duke Energy where I am consulted by engineers, designers, and field personnel over settings issues with these controllers. I have experience developing workflows using Nintex and Microsoft SharePoint that help facilitate communication between departments and maintain information and documents in databases. I received my bachelor's degree from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in Electrical Engineering. At IUPUI, I was asked to tutor and instruct the lab of the introductory circuits course in Electrical Engineering as an undergraduate and continue to tutor and grade for the power systems analysis courses. I passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) in August of my senior year at IUPUI in preparation for passing the Professional Engineering Exam to obtain my PE in the future.
