I currently lead the Secretariat for the Joining Forces Alliance for Children in Kenya- which is a collaboration by six child focused agencies - ChildFund, Plan International, Save the Children, SOS Children’s Villages, Terre des Hommes and World Vision My key areas of knowledge, skills and experience include; 1. Strategy Development and Execution, Programmes’ Design & Implementation; 2. Governance, Policy Analysis & Research; and Policy Advocacy; 3. Human Rights Based approaches to policy and programme decisions and actions; 4. Budget Literacy, Governments’ Budget Analysis and Budget Advocacy; 5. Establishing and Strengthening Partnerships, Networks and Coalitions; 6. Citizens’ Mobilization, Civic Education, Civic Engagement and Social Accountability; 7. Communication for Development and Behaviour Change Communication; 8. Resource Mobilization (Grant Acquisition) and Financial Management; 9. Government, Donor and Private Sector Engagements; 10. Curriculum Development, Developing Training Guides and Conducting Trainings; 11. Monitoring, Evaluation, Documentation and Knowledge Management.
