About Elijah Hong

As a recent graduate in Urban Design and Architecture Studies from New York University, I have developed a strong interest in the intersection of technology and urban planning. I have gained valuable experience in digital content creation, IT support, and data management through various internships and roles. In my most recent role as an International Intern at SOON Movement Global, I designed and launched digital content and advertising campaigns for an English club in Tokyo, targeting college students. I also drafted and finalized a seven-week curriculum for English learners and planned out each meeting’s activities and topics. Prior to that, I worked as a Topographical Associate at the Office of the Staten Island Borough President, where I digitized and uploaded maps to the office server, compiled mailing lists for homes in environmental hazard zones, and created aerial illustrations for street maintenance and civil services. Additionally, I provided IT support for faculty members at New York University, managed and optimized class websites, mentored and trained new hires, and conducted a virtual New York City architecture tour using Google Earth. I am passionate about using technology to enhance urban planning and design, and I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
