About Elijah May

I’d rather skip the small talk. Life’s too short. I want to talk about what’s broken, what’s possible, and how we build a better future together. What I believe most deeply is that connection solves everything. When ideas connect, they can create solutions we never imagined. When people connect, they can see the humanity in one another. When talents connect, they can produce feats of greatness. Almost all of the world’s suffering, and nearly every barrier to innovation, can be traced back to a failure to connect. This certainty drives almost everything I do. I’ve spent my entire professional life studying how systems work and how to make them work better. Done right, business is one of the most powerful connection engines in the world, capable of improving life for everyone involved. And I am certain that we can accomplish almost anything if we come together, cut the crap, and collaborate. As Dave Logan writes in Tribal Leadership, a Level 5 tribe isn’t anyone versus anyone else; it’s all of us together versus what's possible.
