About Elijah Provis

I’m a motivated Electrical and Electronics Engineering BEng (Hons) student with hands-on experience in high-power semiconductor test systems. My background includes diagnosing and repairing faults in complex analog and digital electronic circuits, particularly within high-voltage environments. During my time in industry, I collaborated closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to troubleshoot faults efficiently and minimise equipment downtime — sharpening both my technical skill set and my understanding of lean maintenance strategies. I also hold a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, reinforcing my commitment to process improvement and quality-driven engineering. Currently studying at The univerity of the West of England, I’m building a solid foundation in circuit design, embedded systems, power electronics, and control theory, with a view to pursuing chartered engineer status in the future. I’m actively seeking a placement year opportunity where I can apply my technical strengths, grow within a professional environment, and contribute meaningfully to engineering challenges.
