About Elijah Springer

Biotechnology graduate from Syracuse University and recent M.S. graduate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University. During my undergraduate studies, I was conferred a Distinction in Biotechnology and received a Research Achievement award in Biology. As a SOURCE Fellow and LSAMP/McNair Scholar, I conducted independent research under the mentorship of Dr. Heidi Hehnly, culminating in a senior thesis. My long-term goal is to work at the intersection of science and policy in the biomedical industry. With a passion for molecular biology, cell signaling, and translational research, I am eager to leverage my skills to drive success for a company dedicated to eliminating genetic diseases. As I advance in my career, I plan to pursue either a J.D. to specialize in patent litigation, or an MBA to transition into regulatory affairs. Ultimately, I aspire to become a leader in biomedical innovation by shaping responsible, science-informed decisions that serve both patients and society.
