About Elijah Weir

As a Mediator Specialist, I work with clients, staff, and community partners to resolve conflicts and disputes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods while building long-lasting relationships. I apply my communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to facilitate constructive dialogue and mutual understanding among diverse parties, and to promote peaceful and positive outcomes. I obtained my DRPA Certificate in Mediation from California State University, Long Beach in Dec 2021, after completing 48 hours of intensive training and co-mediating several cases at the Orange County Superior Court. I also hold a B.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach, where I learned about interpersonal, intercultural, and organizational communication theories and practices. My education and certification have prepared me to handle complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion.
