About Elijah Wong

I want to become an orthopaedic surgeon to aid trauma patients and an ageing population with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, contributing positively to someone’s life, like how I was helped. I would also love to conduct surgical research and work with prosthetic developers to help create more efficient and mobile prosthetics, following my interest for human movement. I believe my strengths will help me succeed both at university and in orthopaedic surgery because my disciplined and measured composure allows me to think carefully and persevere when faced with adversity and setbacks throughout life. Furthermore, my collaboration, love for learning and critical thinking help me be a successful life-long learner, striving to understand the human body and better humanity as an orthopaedic surgeon.
