Background
About Elik Almog
As the co-founder and CEO of OtheReality, I lead a social enterprise that leverages VR technology to create immersive empathy training experiences for various sectors, such as healthcare, education, and corporate. With over 3.5 years of experience in this role, I have successfully established OtheReality as a pioneer and innovator in the field of VR-based empathy education and development. My passion for social impact and change stems from my academic background in public policy and philosophy, as well as my previous work as a VP of social programs at Dualis Social Venture Fund, where I supported and mentored numerous social entrepreneurs and organizations. I have developed strong skills in nonprofit management, strategic planning, organizational development, and volunteer management, which I apply to my current role at OtheReality. My mission is to improve patient experience, fight medical staff burnout, boost empathy, diversity, and inclusion, and cultivate belonging and compassion in healthier and wealthier organizations.
