About Elin Movert

A structured and confident researcher, specialized in infection immunology. I thrive in a project-driven environment and have a highly solution-oriented mindset. I have always been fascinated by the fact that there is a whole world of microbes around us that we cannot see. To better understand how some of these can cause disease was what motivated me to pursue a doctoral degree in medical microbiology. I now want to use the skills I have developed during my PhD studies, such as scientific thinking and communication, for the benefit of society. I am particularly interested in contributing to the future work with awareness and preparedness against infectious diseases. Professionally, my aim is to be a vital worker in analysis, organization and problem-solving for any project I’m involved in. I always work to manage my time effectively and to create a well-organized working environment. I treat my colleagues with respect and always celebrate everyone's successes. My colleagues describe me as inquisitive, attentive, persistent and determined.
