About Eline Djoos

I am a life sciences associate in Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office. My practice focuses on regulatory issues and commercial transactions in the life sciences sector, as well as interplays with general intellectual property, AI and data protection.I advise multinational companies, start-ups and research institutes in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical devices spaces on a variety of regulatory matters, including clinical trials, market access, regulatory incentives, orphan designations and paediatrics. I have experience with advising both innovator and generic/biosimilar companies. Digital transformation in the health sector is also one of my main focus areas.The second leg of my practice is transactional and M&A work. I have experience in drafting and negotiations high-value IP licenses, R&D collaborations and other commercial agreements. I assist with the IP, data protection and regulatory aspects of mergers and acquisitions of life sciences companies. Lastly, I assist my patent litigation colleagues with working out the regulatory arguments and legal research for patent infringement proceedings and preliminary injunctions.
