About Eline Pollaert
As PHD researcher and public historian I focus on the history of disability in the Netherlands. My research entails Het Dorp (The Village), a residential area for physically disabled people in the Netherlands that has resided in Arnhem since 1962. I'm also interested in the history of Dutch disability activism and eugenics. In addition to my research, I occasionally still work as an independent researcher, policy advisor and project coordinator in diversity, inclusion and disability justice.
