I was the primary point of contact for the Attraction & Excursion product portfolio with full accountability for all targets at Travel Republic, part of the dnata Group. As part of this role I headed up a highly skilled and diverse team based in offices across the UK, Dubai and the Philippines. I have enjoyed working on marketing campaigns and PR with internationally recognised brands such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld (Pre and post Blackfish) as well as with international sports events, tourist boards and agencies. Animal Welfare Policy Project Team I was part of the team that lead the development of dnata Travel UK’s Animal Welfare Policy that sits within the responsible business framework across all b2b & b2c brands: Gold Medal, Travel 2, Netflights, Travelbag, Travel Republic & Sunmaster. It was my responsibility to act as the interface between all internal teams and third party suppliers of products and services, who are external to the organization. I formulated and implemented the monitoring arrangements to assist with the review and delivery of the strategy and reported on key indicators for performance management purposes. The aim of this project was to work with suppliers to raise welfare standards and promote best practices, as well as to educate customers to make responsible travel choices and the work is ongoing.
