About Elio Deluca
I'm a musician and multi-instrumentalist, classically trained in piano and composition, and self-taught in the art of analog and digital recording. I've worked for over fifteen years as head engineer at The Soul Shop in Medford, MA, USA, a modern commercial recording facility which I co-founded and built. At the Shop I've recorded, mixed, and produced artists such as Bent Shapes, Katie Von Schleicher, Today Junior, Quarterly, Peter Matthew Bauer, The Caverns, Peaceful Faces, Joshuah Campbell, and many more. Over the years as a touring musician I've performed and recorded with artists such as Titus Andronicus, Faces On Film, Keys to the Streets of Fear, Craig Finn, and others. I'm also a composer and arranger for film, radio, and commercial projects. I scored the feature documentary Beyond The Wall in 2016, and wrote theme music for the groundbreaking WGBH radio program In It Together in 2020, which covered the coronavirus pandemic in Massachusetts.
