About Elisabeth Anne
Currently I work as a Research Associate at MIT. Our lab is dedicated to finding new ways to improve and innovate cancer research with a speciality in rare sarcomas. We receive samples globally from rare sarcoma patients and apply new technology such as CRISPR screens to identify genes/mutations that may influence cancer to evolve. We also preform high throughput morphological screens on fresh tissue patient samples to gain more information about cancer cells and there interactions with small molecules. The long term goal is to improve precision cancer medicine. This work is very fulfilling as there is little that is known about many of the disease we work with, and our lab is one of the initial labs to attempt to do these techniques within rare sarcoma research. I am currently looking to pursue a MD/PHD.
