About Elisabeth Trouvain

After studying European Studies with a focus on law, I pursued an LLM in Public International Law, where I developed an interest in International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law. To gain practical experience in these fields, I completed an internship at a human rights risk management consultancy in Berlin, where I worked on projects related to human rights due diligence and risk assessment for companies operating in high-risk environments. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of the critical role that human rights play in business operation. Currently, I am interning at EFRAG within the Sustainability Pillar, which has given me the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in a practical setting and gain a more comprehensive understanding of corporate sustainability and reporting frameworks.
