About Elisabeth Vanderpool

Many years ago, it became clear to me in my first job out of undergrad as a psychiatric technician in an acute behavioral health facility that our healthcare system could be more equitable, innovative, and forward-thinking. In talking with patients, I heard stories that painted a picture of what healthcare is, and what it could be, and I committed myself to seizing every opportunity I could to create deep and meaningful change in communities across the country. Throughout my 15+ years in the healthcare industry, I have kept those stories at the forefront of my mind as I developed a specialized expertise in quantifying the economic impact of community-centric population health interventions. I know that we can make powerful, data-driven changes in health equity by demonstrating the measurable ROI of community investments. My expert approach shows how addressing social determinants of health improves clinical outcomes AND generates work-life years improvements, strengthens local tax bases, and drives economic growth. I know we can impact social good in our communities in even more meaningful ways by proving to health systems and payers that smart community partnerships deliver both health equity and financial returns. Now expanding this pioneering methodology to European markets, I'm bringing evidence-based frameworks that connect health investments to economic prosperity. I do this work because I firmly believe that when we invest in community health, we invest in community wealth.
