About Elise H.
My name is Elise and I am a Registered Nurse. I currently work at two nursing schools in the LA area. I found that one of my passions is teaching. What made me pursue the education route in nursing is the drive to motivate students in being strong thinkers and champions of patient recovery that gives them the ability to be the best nurse they can be. Every teacher I had in nursing school taught me how to endure hardships, analyze problems and how to solve them, and mature as a lifelong learner. I hope to be the same for my students. Because of that, I decided to pursue my Master's of Science in Nursing with an emphasis on Nursing Education. I know that in the nursing field, patient teaching is essential and I am glad that I can incorporate my love for teaching and healthcare into one career.
