My friends and mentors taught me to approach design fearlessly, embracing the blank page as an opportunity for exploration. Leaders instilled in me the importance of asking tough questions to address issues on paper, preventing costly problems in the field. I learned that uncovering and resolving issues early was a crucial step toward project success. As I progressed in my career, I built on these formative experiences, discovering that I thrive on the intricacies of my craft, continuous learning, and mentoring others.
