About Elise Moore

I recently finished my graduate degree with the LSU Flores MBA program. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, and have always loved the south. I have worked in many different industries including large and small veterinary science, real estate, child care, event planning, and retail. This is the industry path I am interested in continuing to develop and grow in, retail and wholesale. I currently own and operate a small part of a regional boutique chain called The Royal Standard. Growing up I was very interested in animals, specifically horses. Through college I competed and worked in the equestrian world, but decided to keep my love as a hobby. I chose a new direction when I began working at a local children's clothing boutique. Since then I have worked my way up in to various positions in the industry, and have enjoyed every challenge I have met, and overcome doing so. As a Senior in college I began my own business within the store I was helping to manage, over the years it has grown into a thriving section, along with becoming my love and passion. Like any good sales woman, I am outgoing, personable, and very versatile. Teamwork, multi-tasking, delegating, problem forecasting, and handling both customer and coworker relations are also fortes I pride myself on. My bachelor degree from LSU in Agriculture Economics has given me insight to product development from out of the gate to the consumer’s hands, combined with business analytic skills and the ability to handle most major business oriented software. Overall I would describe myself as professional, friendly, diplomatic, motivated, creative, and proactive. My eagerness to accomplish, advance, and improve any project or challenge set before me should set myself apart and make me a wanted asset for any team or employer.
